Prepared by: Charity Helpers Foundation
Date: 2025-06-14
Version: 1.0

---

**CONCEPT SUMMARY**
Vault Trek challenges players to complete a light parkour obstacle course while matching and activating memory tiles in a specific sequence. Combines agility, balance, and short-term memory.

---

**REQUIRED EQUIPMENT**

- Foam vault blocks, balance beams, ramps
- Pressure-sensitive or numbered tiles (or paper stand-ins)
- Stopwatch/timer
- Colored LED or paper indicators
- Laminated pattern cards (for memorization)
- Whistle

---

**FIELD LAYOUT**

- Obstacle course with 5–6 core elements (vault, crawl, jump, balance, duck)
- At end of each obstacle, a tile zone with 3–5 selectable memory tiles
- Master station showing the sequence to be matched

---

**PLAYER ROLES**

- 1 runner on the course at a time
- 2 support referees to track time and validate memory matches
- Optional coach to prep player beforehand

---

**GAME OBJECTIVE**

Complete the course and activate the correct tile pattern in the right order before time runs out. Accuracy and agility are both scored.

---

**BASIC RULES**

1. Each player is shown a tile sequence (3–6 tiles) before starting.
2. They must complete the obstacle course in order and activate the tiles as shown.
3. A wrong tile ends the run or causes a time penalty.
4. Players can only view the sequence once.
5. Final score = completion time + penalties – accuracy bonus.

---

**VARIATIONS / SCALING IDEAS**

- **Double Memory**: Two patterns shown, must match both
- **Red Light Vault**: Stop-and-go lighting added to course
- **Hidden Tiles**: Tiles are placed face-down and must be flipped
- **Speed Variant**: Fastest player with full accuracy wins

---

**STAT TRACKING SUGGESTIONS**

- Completion time
- Accuracy percentage
- Number of retries
- Sequence length
- Penalties received

---

**NOTES**
Vault Trek combines kinetic athleticism with mental quickness. It can be used in gyms, community centers, or open fields with temporary obstacles. Encourage safety mats and spotters where needed.
